www.familylawineurope.eu allows to access information relative to
legislation, case-law and in general, to the activity of the European
Union and its member States with regards to family law and human rights,
which is constantly updated.
DATABASE
 The
website offers a rich and updated database,
which can be accessed free of charge and also through membership,
according to the type of documents requested, which includes
- European and national legislation
- the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the European Union,
of the European Court of Human Rights and of the Supreme Judicial Courts
of the Member States of the European Union, on family law and human
rights
- procedures and application forms concerning the judicial cooperation
in civil matters between the Member States of the EU, the rules of
procedure of the Court of Justice of the European Union and of
procedure of the European Court of Human Rights.
NEWSLETTER
A periodical newsletter is drawn up, which is sent free of charge to
anybody who requests it.
WORKING PAPERS AND CASES
 The
website is open to the contributions of lawyers, judges, university
teachers and experts on the subject, which will be published in the
Working Papers and
Cases sessions, according to the
type of contribution, prior evaluation of the website's scientific
committee.
The material must be sent by email to:
info@familylawineurope.eu,
exclusively in *.doc or *.txt format or other text format.
The offered and published contributions are not subject to any
compensation, and the collaboration does not subject the website's owner
to pay any fees for articles, interventions or published contributions,
neither it involves any legal acknowledgement in terms of journalistic
or professional collaboration.
The website will display said contributions, indicating the name of the
author, if requested, his/her CV and the address of his/her legal
office.
The website’s owner is not liable in any way of the content of said
contributions.
FLE NETWORK - FAMILY LAWYERS IN EUROPE NETWORK
 In
order to facilitate the communication and collaboration between European
Lawyers specialized in family law and to publish a list of said experts
subdivided according to Country, an online Network is created, to which
the following lawyers can adhere:
• Lawyers that have been carrying out a professional activity, whether
exclusively, as main or ongoing activity, in family law, for at least 6
years, certified:
- through registration certificate in the
specialization list concerning said subjects, instituted by the
relative Bar Association,
- or the certificate declaring the attendance in the last 6 years to
ongoing training events on family law;
• they must know at least one foreign language (English or French).
• they must dispose of an insurance policy against professional risks.
The Lawyers who are members of Family Law in Europe Association are
members of the Network by law, without the obligation to pay the annual
fee.
The adhesion of a Lawyer to a Network does not constitute any bond with
the other Colleagues adhering to the Network, since the Network does not
constitute any type of professional association, but only a visibility
channel and a tool of possible communication and exchange of information
and documentation among Colleagues.
The owner of the website is not liable in any way for the quality of
possible professional services that may be rendered by a Lawyer adhering
to the Network, requested by a third party that found his/her name in
the list published online.
The Scientific Committee of the website is entrusted
to the Executive Board of Family Law in Europe Association.
Possible controversies between the operator and third parties will be
devolved to the Court of Milan (Italy).
